Hillcrest Gardens is an independent living community owned by Interfaith Housing, a non-profit, nonsectarian organization that develops housing for low-income seniors. Our mission is to bring low-cost, affordable housing to seniors on a limited income, with 2 percent of our apartments dedicated to sight- and hearing-impaired seniors.
Built in 1972, Hillcrest Gardens has a long tradition of providing a quality independent lifestyle for seniors in Livermore. The 54-apartment community is located not far from the state-of-the-art city library, a dynamic downtown area and a number of Livermore wineries.
Hillcrest Gardens provides quality low-income retirement living through government-assisted, low-rent housing for senior residents. We earned a Housing Quality Standards score of 94 out of 100 and a Value Rating of five out of five, which means the living conditions of the community are well above average, and that Hillcrest Gardens is a great value relative to surrounding communities
Offering 54 single-bedroom apartments with private patios, a central park and community recreation center, and a pleasant, knowledgeable staff. This is an ideal setting for seniors.
