About River City Residence Club

This is a cooperative living community for the individual mental health consumer located in downtown Sacramento. Individuals live cooperatively to help reduce the stress and expenses of living independently. Residents are involved in menu planning and cooking, chores, problem solving and decision making regarding issues of interest for all residents. Residents have the opportunity to work on personal goals with the Program Advisor. Staff is available 40 - 60 hours per week. River City Residence Club was organized under the US Department of Housing and Urban Development Section 202/8 Program. As such, it is an equal opportunity housing facility, designed to provide low-cost housing under a federally sponsored program. Residency is open to all qualified persons according to the Fair Housing Act without regard to race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status or national origin.
