Due to the limited availability of units and the large amount of applicants, Madison Heights Co-op has closed their waitlist for standard one-bedroom units as of January 26, 2017. Our friendly and diverse community offers a pleasant atmosphere with plenty of activities and events. Whether it's bingo, movie night, dinners or coffee club, this co-op has it all! You'll enjoy peace of mind in this quiet neighborhood. The members of Madison Heights plan all of their own events. Our building always has a monthly bake sale, and we usually have monthly dinners depending upon the holiday or occasion. Our rummage sale is an annual event in October or November. We call it a Bazaar and we have many events at that time: a 50/50 raffle, jewelry sales, appliance raffle, bake sale and a lunch. All are welcome!

Madison Heights Co-op is gradually transforming into a 100% smoke free co-op. While no one is allowed to smoke in any common areas and within 25 feet of the building, there are approximately 10 members who are still permitted to smoke in their own apartments because they signed a waiver prior to the full implementation of the new smoking rules. All new members as of June 22, 2015 are not allowed to smoke inside their own apartment.

Covered balconies allow you to relax in a serene setting. Members rave about the award-winning grounds. Building residents enjoy spending time in the garden areas around the building. The community area offers a large space to get together. The library and sitting areas are perfect for reading and resting.

Madison Heights Co-op is centrally located near many shops, restaurants, hospitals, freeways and a mall. The building van is also available for trips to places such as Frankenmuth, casinos, malls, etc.
